The Results Are In...

The doctor's office called...Allyson has outgrown her milk allergy!!!

I am so very happy for my precious baby girl! We introduced a few things over the weekend and she got a bit of a belly ache. (She actually vomited on Emily's face...sorry Em.)So we decided to take it slow, despite being surrounded by people wondering when I am going to wean her. Gulp I don't like that kind of pressure.

That's good, it will make it a little easier about having to read the lables on everything. Mandy has a sensitive stomach to some dairy. Yougurt she's fine and cheese but milk and ice cream she either is getting sick or on the potty with bad stomach pains. I now give her "Lactaid" brand milk, it comes in chocolate as well as regular. Thank goodness...she can drink it like a champ...no stomach issues at all!!! Try it, she how she does with that.

Hi. All modern wisdom suggests that babies should be breastfed for at least a year, preferably longer. I myself had to put my daughter on goat milk, not because I wanted to but at that time they were supposed to be weaned as early as possible. Now experience has shown that mother's milk is far superior to all other foods. So hang in there!

You wean her when you want to wean her; when it is best for you!
